Scouts & Guides Quota 2013-14 Group C & D Vacancies
South Eastern Railway invites
prescribed application form from the eligible and meritorious Scouts &
Guides candidates having Scouting/Guiding Qualification for filling up Two
vacancies in Group C and Ten erstwhile Group -D' posts in various
categories.

Educational
Qualifications:
Group C - FOR NTPC - Minimum
Matriculation or equivalent examination with 50% marks in aggregate. The
stipulation of 50% marks is not applicable having higher than Matriculation
Qualification and SC/ST candidates. FOR TECHNICAL CATEGORIES - Passed out Act
Apprenticeship/ITI. Certificate of Act Apprenticeship/ITI must be approved by
SCVT/NCVT.
Group D – 10th pass or ITI or
equivalent.
Scouting / Guiding
qualifications:
(a) Candidate should be a President's Scouts /
Guides /Ranger / Rover. (or) Himalayan Wood Badge holder (or) A Pre-HWB trained
Scout Leader/Advanced trained Guide/Leader/Captain.
(b) Should have been an active member of a Scout Organization for at least three years in the recent past and should continue to be active.
(c) Should have attended at least one event at National level and one or two events at State level. (or) Should have a good record of participation in Scouts/Guides activities at Unit / District level.

How To Apply: For recruitment in Group 'C' posts, applications should be
addressed to the
Asstt Personnel Officer(Recruitment), South Eastern Railway, 11, Garden Reach
Road Kolkata-700043. by ordinary post only or to be dropped in the
box provided at RRC/SER.
For Group 'D' posts the applications should be
addressed to the Postal address of respective Division.
Closing Date: 21/10/2013 up to 18.00 Hrs.
