1. Assistant Engineer (Civil): 93 posts
2. Assistant Engineer (Electrical/ Mechanical): 16 posts
3. Junior Engineer (Civil): 469 posts
4. Junior Engineer (Electrical/ Mechanical): 64 posts
Age limit: Candidates age should be between 18 to 40 years as on 01-07-2013. Relaxation in age will be provided as per the government rules.
Education Qualification: Candidate should possess Degree in BE/ B.Tech in Civil/ Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from recognized university for the Assistant Engineer posts, Diploma in Civil/ Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical from recognized university for Junior Engineer posts.
Application Fee: Candidates has to pay Rs.1000/- for General/ OBC, Rs.500/- for SC/ ST candidates through e-challan in State Bank of India or Debit/ Credit card/ State Bank of India Net banking.
Selection procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of interview and Computer based Online test.
How to Apply: Eligible Candidates can apply online website www.upjn.org from 17-10-2013 to 13-11-2013. After submission of Online Application send the hard copy of application (Including Photo & Signature) & all necessary documents, mention (in capital letters) name of the Post______, to Office Of The Chief Engineer (E-2-1/E-2-2), Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam, 6 – Rana Pratap Marg, Lucknow – 226 001, UP (India) through Speed Post on or before 20-11-2013.
Instructions to Apply Online:
1. Log on website www.upjn.org to access the home page and select the Recruitment-2
2. Select the ‘Online Application’ link and click on it.
3. Select the ‘Candidate Registration’ link besides the desired post to be applied for.
4. Fill all marked details carefully in Part I of application form and Submit.
5. Registration Slip will be generated, take print out and select “Generate E-Challan” option.
6. Make payment using payment challan and revisit website and this time select part II of application.
7. Fill all mandatory details including fee payment details, upload your photograph and signature at the places provided.
8. Select Submit Application Form and take print out of application form and send it as mentioned above.
