Qualification & Experience:
(1) Ph.D. in Metallurgy / Materials Science / Ceramics Engineering from a recognized University / Institute. 
(2) A minimum of 65% mark in Graduation as well as in Post Graduation in Engineering is required. For SC candidates, a minimum of 55% marks in Graduation as well as in Post Graduation in Engineering is required. 
(3) Candidates should have post-qualification experience for a minimum period of THREE years for E-4 grade and ONE year for E-3 grade in Research and Development field of iron and steel industry or CSIR laboratories or DRDO or BARC or ISRO or premier academic institutions like IITs, IISc and premier international academic institutions of repute. 
(4) Researchers in academic institutions IITs or IISc or in premier international academic institutions of repute should have successfully taken up and completed industrial research projects. 
(5) Candidates with published research work in national / international journals of repute will be preferred.
Selection Process: Interview to be held at Visakhapatnam.
