Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee): 124 posts
Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee): 61 posts
Medical Service provider (Trainee): 12 posts
Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler operation): 6 posts
Attendant-cum-Technician (Cable jointing): 3 posts
Medical Service provider (Trainee)-Nursing: 08 posts

Educational qualification: Candidate are advised to refer official notification for post wise qualification details.

Age Limit: To apply for Technician job at SAIL candidate age should be between 18 years to 28 years as on 1-10-2013.

Pay Scale: The pay scale range for Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) is
Rs.9160-3%- 13150/-.for Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) is Rs.8630-3%- 12080/-.

Selection Process: Candidate selection for SAIL Technician recruitment will be based on written test & interview.

Application fee & Mode of payment Details
Application fee

a) Candidates belonging to General/OBC category will be required to pay application fee of:
i. Rs.250/- for the post of Operator-cum Technician (Trainee)
ii. Rs.150/- for the post of Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee)
b) Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/ESM category will be required to pay processing fee of Rs.50/- for the post of Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) / Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee).
c) In addition to the application / processing fee as above, candidates will be required to pay an amount of Rs.20/- as Bank Charges.
