Requirements of Eligibility:
The minimum requirement of educational qualification for the post of Assistant Lineman (ITC)/ (ITI) and Station Attendant Grade-2 is matriculation or certificate of ITI in either of the following trades- Lineman/ Electrician/ Electronics/ Electronic Mechanic/ Fitter from any Government of Karnataka recognized institutions.
Age Limitation:
The minimum age for participating in recruitment concerned is 18 years brought into effect from the last date of application as mentioned for this purpose. The maximum age shall not exceed 35 years for General Merit Candidates, 38 years for Category IIA, IIB, IIIA and IIIB Candidates and 40 years for SC/ST Category I candidates respectively.
Manner of Selection:
The applicants shall be selected on the basis of merit or marks obtained in qualifying examination for Assistant Lineman Post only. The selection will be based on the reservation rules of Karnataka Government, Endurance Test (100 meters Running, Skipping, Shot Put 12 pounds, Climbing of Electric Pole and 800 meters running) and Document Verification scheduled to be held at Circle Headquarters of O & M Circle Office, MESCOM Mangalore.
