Age Limit: Between 18 and 27 years (relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and of 3 years for OBC candidates)

Scale of Pay: PB-1 Rs. 5200 - 20200/- with grade pay of Rs. 1800/-

Educational Qualifications: Matriculation from recognized Board or equivalent. Certificate from Industrial Training Institute in Motor Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic or Welding.

Age Relaxation: Up to 5 years for SC/ST and of 3 years for OBC candidates. Relaxable for Govt. Servants upto the age of 40 years in the case of general candidates and upto 45 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC & ST.
