Indian Institute of Horticultural
Research (IIHR) Bangalore, under Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR)
invites applications from the eligible candidates for filling up of Technical,
Administrative posts & Skilled Support posts at IIHR Headquarters,
Bangalore and at its Regional Stations, viz. CHES, Hirehalli, KVK, Hirehalli,
CHES, Chettalli, KVK, Gonikoppal Karnataka and CHES, Bhubaneswar, Orissa under
the Administrative Control of I.C.A.R. The posts are of permanent nature and at
present, are to be filled on temporary basis. Eligible candidates apply on the
prescribed application format on or before 12th December 2013.

Educational
Qualifications:
Technical Assistant - Essential -
Bachelor’s degree in Hindi Language or equivalent qualification from a
recognized university, with three years experience in science writing and
science journalism in Hindi.
Desirable - Diploma in Journalism. Diploma in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa. Knowledge of Computer (Hindi Typing on computer).

Lower Division Clerk – Essential - 12th class
or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or University. A typing
speed of 35w.p.m. in English or 30w.p.m. in Hindi on computer. Desirable - 35
w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH on an average of 5key depressions
for each word)
Skilled Support Staff - Matriculation or
equivalent pass (OR) ITI
Pass.
Application Fee: A crossed Demand Draft (valid for 3 months) for Rs.300/-
(non-refundable) as application fee (drawn in favour of “ICAR
unit – IIHR” payable at Bangalore
